HowLegitThe public register
Sector by sector

What holds up, and what does not

HowLegit audits every company in a market at once, against the same checklist, in the same window. That is what makes the comparison fair: a grade here is not one company reviewed in isolation, it is where they stand among the people they compete with.

Where an entry links through, you get the full audit: every graded claim, the wording assessed, the evidence behind it, and the reasoning for the grade.

What we scan next

Ask for your sector

We scan a market end to end: every company we can reach, against the same checklist, over four to eight weeks. A grade then says where a company stands among the people it competes with.

Which market comes next is decided by who asks for it.

  1. 25 confirmed requests scopes a sector. Everyone who asked is told.
  2. Asking is free. Funding the scan is a separate choice, and never the companies being assessed.
  3. We confirm by email. One inbox counts once. Every message carries an opt-out.
  4. Who is asking counts as much as how many.
  5. No one organisation can scope a sector alone. Three requests per organisation count towards the 25. Personal addresses are exempt.
  6. Anonymous does not move the bar. It is counted and shown separately.
